I remember back when I started people I was going to start a tree service. I knew that giving it a name was a great place to start. I was in my early 20's and it just clicked! "Kid With A Chainsaw!" It's gonna be GREAT!.

I was in the Army Reserve, working warehouse jobs and occasionally doing small side jobs with my tree service, when I deployed to Poland during COVID. When I came back, I had a second child on the way and I knew I wanted to do more than just stack boxes and go over SSU numbers. I got a call from a recruiter to be a cell tower technician.

After 2 1/2 years of climbing cell towers doing 5G upgrades all over the Carolinas, I was talking with my brother (a Marine Corps Reservist) about going into Kid With A Chainsaw full-time. We had previously done a couple of small jobs together and knew it would be so exciting to dive into this!

After many up and downs and ups and downs 😉 , Kid With A Chainsaw is a 31 year old man with hundreds of safely completed tree jobs under my belt.
